Tristan completed homework such as math - math game, simplifying fractions and language arts - reading the story, "Make the Bed". Tristan did excellent reading.
Spencer did well reading a book entitiled, 'Splat the Cat'. Plot elements were identified and discussed. He worked on problems that involved dividing numbers by factors of ten.
Tristan completed homework such as math - summer sheets, reviewing addition with partial sums, more/less, comparing numbers, addition/subtraction/multiplication/division, paying close attention to the operation ; language arts - review word families such as -ake, -ame, -ile, and -ade to prepare for a read aloud tomorrow.

We came in from playing basketball early because Tristan kept cursing. However, it was only a couple of minutes early. Tristan also did a lot of repeated behaviors today.
Spencer set a goal for when he hoped to complete his language arts homework and when he wanted to be done with all of his homework. He did well reading short passages and choosing the main idea. Spencer also listened to a story and then answered literal and inferential questions about the text. He solved word problems that involved mixed operations.
Today's lesson focused on study skills. Cabo spent the class working on homework from other classes. Cabo was encouraged to work on the research paper assigned and not completed.

When playing basketball, Tristan fell down and scraped his elbow.
Spencer took out his language arts homework and began working without prompting. He was tasked with identifying the sounds of inflectional endings. His math homework was a chapter review. Spencer worked very well completing one problem after the next.
Matthew worked on his Spanish homework translating words from his supplemental text.
He then packed up all of the needed materials from his classroom. He spent some of this time sorting through papers determining what could be archived and what should travel with him.
