Review homework assignments-

Tristan completed homework such as math - mixed numbers and improper fractions. Tristan mastered changing mixed numbers to improper fractions. Tristan needs more practice with changing improper fractions to mixed numbers. Tristan also completed language arts, practicing sight words with an interactive game. Tristan read the sight words correctly and it was fun.

Spencer did well on a spiral review of mathmatical procedures and concepts. He confidently completed a cut and paste activity that involved matching contractions with the corresponding pairs of words.

Matthew and I were to address his current assignments in all of his classes including English, Business, and Spanish.

He was absent.

Tristan completed homework such as language arts - practicing parts of speech with a Valentine's Day activity and math - practicing equivalent fractions with a game, filling in the blanks to make the fractions equivalent.

Review Homework and work on due dates

Matthew reread the response that he had drafted in business class. He continued to work on the writing and added a summary to the paragraph.

He finished the paragraph prior to leaving our session.

Spencer read a passage on droughts. He wrote answers to questions about the genre and text features. Spencer was interested in learning about droughts and resulting water restricitions. We practiced writing the spelling words he had difficulty with yesterday. He rounded three-digit numbers before solving addition and subtraction problems.

Matthew worked on a variety of subjects today.

Wanting a break from chemistry (his class just prior to ours) we started with Spanish. He engaged in meaningful ways with his Spanish homework as he attempted to translate the text while focusing on identifying words that he did not know.

He then worked on Chemistry using his notes from the class to complete the tasks at hand.

Lastly, Matthew finished the class by answering questions from the business textbook.
