Tristan completed homework such as language arts - identifying nouns and verbs by reading the word aloud and coloring it according to the key given and math - changing improper fractions to mixed numbers by looking at the shaded parts.
We reviewed the behavior chart in terms of choices and consequences. Spencer wrote the spelling word that matched the clue. After starting a crossword puzzle together, Spencer completed the assignment independently. He practiced spelling his spelling words. Spencer was picked up early today. We will work on his math homework tomorrow.

Tristan has been doing wonderful. However, today there was multiple times where he repeated himself. I think we need to include him into a bigger group for lunch for socialization.
Spencer read a nonfiction passage on tsunamis. Given sentences from the passage, Spencer was tasked with identifying the context clues and then defining the word in bold. The commutative proper of addition, the associative property of addition and the identify property of addition were all reviewed and practiced.
Tristan completed homework such as, math - mixed numbers, making a model to show each mixed number; language arts - skill sheet, parts of speech -nouns, adjectives, and action verbs and working with sight words such as each, because, only, now.
We discussed what Spencer needed to accomplish (assignments) and what he wanted to accomplish (free time). Time management to accomplish both goals was discussed. Spencer completed a spelling test. Given sentences, Spencer proofread and corrected for capitalization, end punctuation and subject/verb agreement. He did well rounding 3-digit numbers before subtracting the numbers.

Spencer completed his work without a lot of prompting. He repeatedly made farting noises and asked what the smell was.
Matthew worked on his English study guide for Great Expectations.
Upon completing the assignment, we then started to work from the text for his business class.
Matthew led the charge. When he would err in one of his responses, I would explain the concepts at hand in an effort to bolster his overall understanding and minimize future errors.
