Spencer walked through the door and closed it after himself so that I had to reopen it. I spoke to him about it and he laughed.
He was not being cooperative about getting his assignments done. When I told him he needed to get his work done to go outside, he said his mother was picking them up at 2:15 so he would not be able to go outside, "that's why I am being like this because I can't go outside anyway". He almost completed his math, had not started his language arts and announced he was done and would take the rest home. I explained that this time was to do his homework. He said he didn't care and, at that moment, Elise said his mother was here. I was quite disappointed because I thought he was making progress, but it was only to be able to go outside.
Tristan completed homework such as language arts - synonyms and prefixes, matching pictures and words to match the synonyms and adding the prefix 'un' to words; math - equivalent fractions and adding & subtracting fractions.
Spencer did well reading, 'Thud: Thump! Thud!'. After summarizing the story, he wrote the beginning, middle and end of the story. Spencer practiced rounding to the nearest ten and to the nearest hundred. Given triple-digit addition problems, Spencer did well rounding the numbers and then adding the rounding numbers.

Spencer and I went outside to basket ball for last ten minutes. I was about to shoot the ball when Spencer grabbed my hand and scratched it. I told him that was not going to be tolerated and ended the game.
