During today's review/practice multiple choice question in Unit 2 related to migration patterns, Kaitlin was very attentive and worked diligently. I have been encouraging and guiding her into proofreading test questions and answers to avoid simple errors such as misreading question intent and/or selecting answers that opposite of what the correct response should be.

During today's Study Skills session, Kaitlin worked diligently and productively with the AP Human Geography test practice MCQ questions related to maps and geographical/migration patterns. We will continue to work with these online practice exercises and soon transition into working with Free Response (FRQ) type questions.
Philip completed an English assessment on simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences and his mathematics homework on evaluating square roots and cubed roots.
Philip completed his homework assignment for social studies on how the United States regional geography affects their economies by responding to and submitting the answers to 6 posted questions. Then, he organized his planner in preparation of his Friday homework assignments.
Philip began class by writing himself a reminder on a post-it to bring in a notebook for his mathematics class, since he left his planner at home. It is extremely important for him to bring his planner to school each day. During the period he completed his homework assignment for social studies which was to read chapter 2, The United States: Resources and Regions. Next, Philip worked on the second body paragraph of his English essay.

Philip used the class period to organize his daily planner, create labels for his drawers for each of his classes, and label his spiral notebooks with each subject and teacher. We discussed the importance of organizing his homework in his planner, which has a spot for each of his 7 periods of classes each day and getting in the habit of writing down these classes in his planner each day.
