Lesson Comments
Cameron didn't have any work today, so we spent half the time discussing the book I recommended to him and the other half practicing algebraic equations. He's really starting to get the hang of the algebra and has improved gradually each week. He's done a good job with the reading thus far, but he needs to put in more of a day in and day out effort.

Lesson Comments
Cameron has been out of school this week with his sunburn, and was consequently having problems with the advanced equations. Again, his biggest problem is that he doesn't write the problems out, and consequently makes some silly mistakes. It's a step by step process, which is something I've been trying to hammer into him since day one.

Lesson Comments
Cameron's school is still in FCAT mode so he didn't have any assignments to work on. So we finished up our discussion about Lord of the Flies and spent the rest of the class going through the reading list and finding books for Cameron to read to finish the school year. I think Cameron's biggest problem with reading is that he hasn't found anything that really grabbed him yet. I think we came up with a pretty good list that will last him well into the summer.
