It was difficult to get him to focus/attend to anything other than talking about or looking for his missing piece. Attempts at trying to correct his R sound production during discussions about the missing piece were tried.

S: Noah was seen at the Batt School for treatment. He was eager to work with the SLP throughout the session. O: Noah was asked to follow a variety of 1-step related directions. He completed the activity with 65% accuracy. He was then asked to identify temporal concepts (i.e. before/after) in a field of 3 visual answer choices. He was then asked to identify spatial concepts in a field of 2 visual answer choices. He completed the activity with 75% accuracy. Lastly, Noah was asked mixed “wh” questions about a story read aloud to him given a field of 3 visual answer choices and immediate visual/verbal information. He completed the activity with 77% accuracy. A: Increases displayed across POC goals. Noah is noted to show increases with answering “wh” questions after being provided immediate visual/verbal information. P: Continue with current POC.

Luke had a good session today. He was a little more distracted than usual this morning but was able to get his work done. He worked on a few problem solving situations. He came up with the problem and a possible solution with minimal help.
Luke participated in conversation with a peer- good back and forth and he maintained his L sound production with minimal cueing needed.

Chris initiated conversation rapidly this morning as he wanted to "talk about some important stuff."
Familiar topic transition supports were provided as the session was underway, as topic shifting was strong this session. Chris laughingly shared, " Oh yeah, Ms. Lynne, I guess I'm jumping around today." Chris continues to demonstrate increased self awareness, and is noted to revise, rephrase and provide additional language to clarify, or repair communication breakdowns with increased frequency. Reciprocity was notably strong for the duration the session, as cycles of exchange were observed to be 5-7 exchanges in length. Subsequent topic transitions were characterized by use of transitional phrases, and appropriate segue with minimal cueing. Strong session today.
