Rory and I are doing a film study with the book. We are watching the movie. We are pausing it and discussing the characters. We are discussing what type of reaction paper Rory will be writing in response to the film. We are also referencing the book in print for textual support.

Rory began the book Killing Mr Griffen by Lois Duncan. We discussed the theme of the book and he read silently for an hour.

In this session, Rory completed work on linear functions.

In this session, we continued solving rational functions whose solution involves solving a quadratic equation.

In this activity, Rory focused on both quadratic and rational functions. What was different about this assignment was that it combined rational functions that had to be solved by factoring.

Today we went online to various types of Spanish-speaking country origin music videos in order to try to distinguish between a variety of dialects and genres.

In this session, Rory was absent.

In this activity, Rory solved rational functions using factoring as a main tool.
