In this activity, GT focused on graphing sin functions using all four transformations. The functions he worked with used all four transformations on each problem, so GT had to learn a correct sequencing for each problem. This is an important part of his study of trigonometry because most of the applications today are centered around the actual functions.
The lesson began with a review and discussion of current news stories. Next, we reviewed political parties, polarization, and realignment. Primary elections were then reviewed and discussed. The nomination process was presented and discussed as well as the differences between state and national conventions. GT was interested and involved throughout the class.
