Brandon is very smart. He is very fast, and exercises don't seem to require much effort on his part.

Helena studied and did her exercises today. But emotionally, she is at the same point than last Monday, dark and unreachable. This is very sad.
I'll do a "mini-quiz" next Wednesday (if she comes) to get a third grade.

I am very concerned about Helena. She seemed extremely depressed. She could not smile at all, she would not talk at all. She could not study at all. She even gave some clues of how severe it might be: * She sent very long messages on her iphone (usually they are very short as they should). * We finished a video today, and she did not even ask me which one would be next as she usually does (as if there were no tomorrow). * She did not even try to smile once (she usually does, then you can see the sadness behind). She was extremely dark. When I left the school, a teacher told me that she told him this morning that the alternative to life (meaning death) is not worse than life itself. I don't mean to sound alarmist, but I do hope her dad is well aware that Depression is a disease, with potential tragic consequences.

Helena did pretty good with an exercise on negative forms.

Helena was tired. It was hard for her to focus.
