Today, David and I played a couple of games together outside.
We started with some badminton, and we finished we finished by playing several games of ping pong.
David completed the SmartBook questions on aquatic ecosystems. We discussed the pelagic, benthic, aphotic, and photic zones of the ocean. We discussed eutrophic versus oligotrophic lakes. We discussed wetlands versus estuaries.

Lesson Comments
During today's session, David was very interested in the important roles/missions of the United Nations and NATO. Connections were made with NATO's current involvement in the Ukraine/Russian conflict. The upcoming WH Final Exam on 5/15 and 5/16 was discussed with David.
David continues to work on his fitness goals for the year.
Today, we started with an easy jog on the perimeter of the field;
Next, we did some easy fitness under the pavilion.
We finished with a cool down and a stretch.
David and I finished talking about CPR and First Aid.
We also talked about him being the captain of the Blue team and what we would be doing for Field Day.
David and I reviewed aquatic ecosystems. He watched a video on aquatic ecosystems and answered some lesson review questions. We discussed the difference between oligotrophic lakes and eutrophic lakes.
David was given his last set of 10 verbs that he will need for his final exam. That brings his total to 60. In our practice today, he was great with approximately half of the verbs and good with another 10 verbs.
He should try to close the gap as soon as he can.
He should read his paragraphs for his essay again.
Assignment
Study his verb cards! Memorize the two body paragraphs that he as written.
