Jonathan tested a new WIFI Smart Net HD wireless camera that connects to an iPhone or an iPad from anywhere. Adapting to a cell phone or an iPad the camera cost $29 is such that several locations can be recorded at the same time. He also tested an in camera GreenScreen app that allows superimposition of video footage with realtime performance.

Jonathan completed fifteen minutes on Iready. Jonathan completed reading a passage in his Iready textbook and completed the reading comprehension questions that followed. Jonathan practiced his spelling words.
Jonathan was excited to show off how he can produce his sounds even with another missing tooth. He has mastered control of the airflow for a strong solid /S/ without the extra noise and air escaping from his missing teeth. He does need to focus and is able to produce initial /s/ in words with 80% accuracy. He needs to focus to have a solid production. Jonathan is very bright and likes to multitask but this is skill that requires his full attention to get it right.
Math – Jonathan practiced finding the difference in double digit numbers using a number line. Then he discovered how to borrow from the tens place when needed and he successfully completed several problems. Next he worked on iReady.
Science – Jonathan learned the steps in the water cycle. Then he was able to name them and identify types of precipitation as well as the location of water on Earth’s surface.
Jonathan completed the Easter Story cross activity assigned by his teacher. He listened to the Easter story, "Chicken Sunday" and brainstormed how he wanted to decorate his Easter eggs.
Jonathan completed the YouTube video on reduce, recycle, and reuse assigned from his teacher in New Jersey. He brainstormed ways to reduce, recycle, and reuse. Jonathan completed a reduce reuse recycle sort.
Jonathan completed his assignments from his teacher in New Jersey. He completed fifteen minutes on Iready. Jonathan watched "How to Catch the Easter Bunny" on Epic. He completed a story map for the story.
Jonathan and I worked on completing the wings of his Pokemon character. We soften clay, rolled it flat, and placed it over the exposed tinfoil. To finalize his work, Jonathan was given oil to smooth out the surface of the wings.
Today we discussed lemonade stand basic business concepts to figure out cost and profit. We also discussed marketing strategy. We will develop a more complex business idea in the future.
