We discussed methods of profiting in real estate including flipping and rental. We compared strategies and talked about risks such as interest rates and liquidity.

Sofia thinks she already knows everything but when we discussed the business of real estate, she appeared surprised at some of the facts and components of strategies that she was not aware of. She is generally resistant to new ideas without being convinced that there is something worth listening to.
Mercer began an assignment from the 5th grade math Envision textbook, Adding Fractions With Unlike Denominators. We also played a game of scrabble which Mercer won!
We discussed commercial and residential real estate types and subtypes and factors influencing their value. We also evaluated mixed use examples such as retail with residential. We updated position spreadsheets with new trades and prices and the impact on sector allocation.

Today Ayden bought a new stock and added allocation to healthcare sector and updated all market prices for current positions.

We worked on understanding the sale of put options and built a payoff diagram to illustrate using Rocket and Workhorse stocks as examples.

Ayden was remote today and we got a late start since I was not advised that Ayden would be remote until I texted him at 9:30am. He said his mom emailed Judie to advise yesterday. We had a good session remotely today and Ayden remains focused on stocks as we watch the markets change daily.
