Today we analyzed a "put option" on GameStop stock (ticker GME). We generated a payoff diagram showing the potential gain or loss on the March 26th expiration $125 strike price put option. We will follow up with valuation in the next class.

Bobby was 30 minutes late for class today. He claimed he had gone out and was stuck in traffic - caught by a bridge opening. During our remaining 30 minutes he was engaged and cooperative as usual. He appears to enjoy learning about options.
We used chart patterns to predict support levels on stocks that Ayden is interested in buying. Ayden entered limit orders that are "good until cancelled" for stocks on his shopping list.

Ayden was remote today because he will be traveling on vacation starting this afternoon. He worked well with me on chart analysis today. We are delaying the start of derivatives until he returns to school.

The internet was down all morning (8am to 10am) so at Nicole's instruction, I gave Bobby an hour of independent study work to do given that class was not formally held.
Today we organized presentations to be given by Dutch, Bobby, and Sophia. The idea is to build confidence and reduce anxiety for them when having to present in public.

Ayden was a bit late today but we were able to get things done during the remaining time. We watched Bobby and Sophia practice a bit today so Ayden can see what it will be like when he does it in May.
We discussed channels and relative strength indicators today. We worked on how to modify the parameters to make the tools more effective.
