In this activity, Anna completed part 3 the subjective part of the test non calculator. This part of the test is worth 25% of her grade and consists of three sections with 3 questions in each part.

In this activity, Anna completed part 3 subjective exam consisting of three detailed problems with 4 parts each and calculators can be used and sometimes are a necessity.

I asked Anna questions about acceleration and velocity vectors in circular motion. She was able to correctly identify the correct directions. I asked her some general questions about basic direct current circuits. After she answered them correctly, I instructed her to view a video on basic direct current circuits. There was no assignment.

I worked with Anna to help her fully understand the relationships of the acceleration, velocity, and position vs time graphs. I then instructed her to watch a video about free body diagrams for forces such as the ones we have studied in this chapter dealing with electic forces. After that, I gave her a reading assignment and a written one on part A of p.245.

In this activity, Anna completed the balance of part one no calculator and all of part two calculator section of the exam. In this part of the exam she also needed very little help.

In this activity, Anna started her second AP calculus exam and she completed 75% of part one no calculator part of the test. Anna needed very little help in this section of the test.

I reviewed with Anna the ratio of charges of two joined particles to obtain rotational equilibrium from a third charge. I also directed her to view two videos to explain charge quantization and how grains of pollen could have different repulsion forces. Lastly, we studied an acceleration vs time chart to find how charges move with electric repulsion. The homework was to construct two charts: velocity vs time and position vs time based on the chart on p. 243.

I worked with Anna to calculate the different charges on two point sources connected by a rigid, non-connecting rod. At the beginning of the class, I told her to view a video which developed Coulomb's equation and then I worked with her to analyze a diagram of three forces. The forces had to be in equilibrium in the scenario and so the farther point from a third point had to have a larger charge compared to the point closest to the third charge. At the end of the session, Anna was still developing her analysis of the diagram. I assigned her to study the scenario and try to develop answers to questions the activity asked.

I asked Anna a number of questions from her studies of forces on points in space. We used Coulombs law to discuss both quantitative and qualitative effects of charges in space on each other. We did problems involving both electromagnetic and gravitational forces in such a way as to show how both sets of laws use the inverse square of the distance between point sources. There was no assignment.

In this activity, Anna completed the last section of the AP exam that is the subjective part no calculator and the point total of this section is 25% of the total points.
