Cam was challenged to draw an imaginary character using pencil and paper. He used a character from mythology and made effective use of space. Cam was receptive to suggestions offered by his teacher and a peer, and he referenced a source to help facilitate his drawing of how he envisioned the character's musculature.
Cam worked on and completed a project creating a landscape. He was permitted to use reference but not copy, use the whole page and used cross-hatching to create depth. His landscape incorporated the state of Florida.
