Bella found this exercise a lot of fun. Probably because we used her hair from a haircut we did on her last month =) She observed the change in the translucency of the melanin in her hair and how it was different using the Lightner formula with 10 volume (3% H202) compared to 40 volume (12% H202) solution.

Bella had a head cold and changed to online. We reviewed hair color theory and had a verbal pop quiz. Bella did well with recall and using critical thinking skills to navigate through a process and come to the correct conclusions.
Today, Lena completed the assignment to transcribe the vocabulary from section 6: automobile insurance into her economics journal. She did so and was able to answer comprehension questions about them with the vocabulary words present. He familiarity with the words was less than last week and she needed some help with how to say them correctly, but once modeled she was able to repeat it correctly throughout the class. Lena required a few more prompts to stay attending to her lesson today, but was cooperative and interested in getting started with her economics work quickly. Lena was reluctant today to answer any questions not directly related to her economics assignment and would politely decline answering the question.

Bella received a zero-degree electric clipper haircut executed in natural fall. This particular cut is typically done with shears. Bella is learning to think "outside the box"

Switched to an online platform for this class. Reviewed Bellas skincare products and discussed the chemical effects and used critical thinking skills to determine on what skin type they would work best. Reviewed Bella's face makeup products and she did a "theatrical" makeup application.
Tristan and I took a nature walk to see how many living things we could find outside. He was particulary interested in looking for snakes and lizards. We compared and contrasted snakes and lizards, identifying distinguishing characteristics of both.
Richard elected to work on his art project. He decided on the colors he wished to use, and chose the term 'hybrid' to explain his choice of combining a few select shades. Richard followed directions well and worked with good focus, concentration, and attention to detail.
