Today was movie day! We had fun playing chess while hanging out with the other students watching the movie.

Hank completed the Stanford test. He worked in the areas of Social Science and Reading Comprehension.

Hank and I played a round of chess. I showed him my startup strategy as well as how I read his plays. We ended learning about Chess variants where different rules and pieces are added.

Today I brought in an instrument called a theremin. We learned how it used the electromagnetic spectrum to derive the pitch and volume control. Hank enjoyed playing with the instrument. He was interested in the calibration in that you could set different distances for each axis to read.
