Lesson Comments
Hank was cooperative but at times lost attention and wandered off to try and do other things. He drew an inappropriate picture on the whiteboard in Jonathan's room at one point. I was able to get him back to focus on each occasion and he made good progress during our time. Our session went from 1:00pm to 2:30pm today.

Writing Enhancement: If I had the Powers of an animal
Lesson Outline
Hank was given a writing prompt which instructed him to discuss the powers that he would choose if he could choose the “super” powers of any animal.

He chose to write about the gecko and how he would use its ability to walk on vertical surfaces including glass.

We then played a game of chess.

He continues to write more readily with each session that we have.

We are working together to find an optimal balance of work (to build his skills) and fun (to keep him enthusiastic about doing great work).
