This morning, Matthew began with a 3s facts review before he took a timed 3s facts drill. Then, we worked on adding decimals with regrouping. Matthew chose items from a pet store shopping list to purchase. He found the price of each item, lined up the decimals, added each place value, and regrouped when necessary.
Today Matthew and I spent the period discussing bullying and the effects it has on everyone involved. We watched a video that did a great job explaining everything and putting things in which he could understand.
Matthew and I were pressed for time, however Matthew finished the last VeggieTales film we'll be watching together. Matthew and I then spent the last 10 minutes spending some time outside.
Matthew and I are very close to completing the full lesson plan for the school year! One of the last lessons covers the Last Supper, the betrayal from Judas, and the lead up to the resurrection.
