Richard completed his interactive calendar. He read and played a match game with his new vocabulary words. He took a quiz on his new vocabulary words and their definitions. He checked on the water gauge outside to see how much rain had fallen last month.

I substituted for Richard this morning. We did some ping pong and then we played some games inside.

We watched the movie The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind and discussed it.

MAP testing

Session consisted of heel to toe walking around school playground. Student required verbal cues to contact with heel first as he intermittently exhibited toe walking. Session also incorporated a game of ping pong to challenge student's coordination. Student tolerated session well.

Richard is focusing on the position of his letters, the placement of his words, his posture, and his pencil grip as he writes today's lesson pertaining to writing a book review.

Richard continues to work on his blox project. He is learning how to make a pattern, and then use the pattern to cut the fabric to complete his project.

Richard continued to work on the mathematics portion of the MAP Growth testing.
