Kellan worked on his latest comic book for the duration of class.

Kellan made final touches on his stamp carving. He worked on finishing carving out the inside. We then went over his book making project.

Kellan began the mathematics portion of the MAP Growth testing.

Kellan wrote sentences for his spelling words. He read Dog Man and discussed it.

Kellan and I discussed creating a list of all of the characters that would be featured in his book. I had Kellan start with the heroes and once completed he was instructed to work on a list of the villains.

Kellan and I did a review of the work that he had completed to date and updated his checklist. Kellan and I went over a game plan for the next three weeks. Kellan was given time to continue working on book three of his project.

Kellan and I discussed what his book is about. I helped him pull out some details to create a summary for his project.

Kellan read pages 62-3 in the textbook about the resources plants need. He worked on his reading comprehension skills and summarized each paragraph after reading.

Kellan reviewed his new vocabulary words. He located the islands of Oceania on the map. He read and discussed the exploration and discovery of these islands and their people. He reviewed 10 more states and their capitals. He learned about the 8th amendment to the Bill of Rights.
