Kellan began his last Unit of study for the year, reviewing the major concepts covered this year. He recited the Bill of Rights and explained them. He played a match game with several of the States and Capitals.

Kellan answered the workbook questions about photosynthesis and the parts of a plant. He drew a diagram of a plant performing photosynthesis.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan took his spelling test. He read Dog Man, and we discussed it.

Kellan showed me the progress that he had made with his character profile images and bios. After reviewing his work I let Kellan know that I was very happy with his progress and wanted him to continue working on the villains' biographies.

This morning, Kellan and I focused on reviewing multiplication facts which we will continue through the end of the school year. He began with a timed 7s fact drill. Then, he quickly went through the multiplication flashcards with the 0, 1, 2, and 3 facts. We finished with a few rounds of Kellan's favorite game, multiplication war.

Kellan and I worked on our ping pong game today. We worked on all facets of the game including serving, forehand and backhand shots including different trick shots.

Kellan read from his independent reading book today. He provided a summary of what he read. He also predicted what would happen next.

Kellan read about photosynthesis, chloroplasts, chlorophyll and xylem. He interpreted a diagram of a leaf. He summarized the paragraphs after he read.

Kellan took his test on the Oceania Unit. He recited the Bill of Rights. He completed an activity matching States and their Capitals.
