For today's daily review, Kellan worked on a multi-step, multi-operation word problem. Then, we continued the lesson on using area models to help name equivalent fractions. Kellan wrote fractions equivalent to the shown models before applying basic multiplication and division facts to find equivalent fractions without models.

Kellan read about water as a natural resource. He interpreted a diagram of the percentages of Earth's fresh and salt water. He read about water as a limited resource and discussed. We reviewed renewable and nonrenewable resources.

Kellan continues to research and study the major accomplishments, language, religion, and government of the Aztec, Maya, and Inca civilizations.

Today we had a shorter class because of recess.
