Kellan completed the lab "Cold and Heat." He explored how black absorbs heat faster and the temperature rises more quickly than white. He recorded his data in a table. We discussed how animals with dark fur stay warmer than those with light fur. He illustrated the term migrate and we reviewed ocean adaptations.
Kellan continues to study the 3 ancient civilizations of the Maya, Inca, and Aztec. He is discovering the ways in which these civilizations were alike and how they were different. He is also learning how to make maps of their locations.
