Kellan did a beautiful job reading his 2-page comic story aloud. It took about 20 min to read the story. He then identified the story arc, starting with the exposition, inciting incident, climax, and resolution. Great class. Kellan is so talented!

Kellan began with daily review questions on adding decimal amounts, completing fact families, addition, and recognizing the area of a shape using square units. Then, we reviewed the concept of division, the long division steps, and how to interpret remainders. Together, we used data from a table to answer real-world division word problems.

Kellan watched a video and read about ecosystems. He recorded the key term and definition, and illustrated the following ecosystems: forest, grassland, desert, ocean, and lake.
