This morning, Kellan completed review problems on solving a division word problem, recognizing correct equations, and adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers. Then, he reviewed the 4s facts before completing a timed 4s fact check. Finally, Kellan solved numerous 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication problems and was asked to complete additional problems for homework.

Kellan read about chemical properties: oxidation and flammability. He created illustrated notecards with definitions. He watched a video on physical changes versus chemical changes.

Kellan learned about the states of Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia, and their capitals. He continued his study of the Middle Ages. He studied the 5th Amendment.

To begin, Kellan used the multiplication flashcards to review the 2, 3, and 4 facts before taking a timed 4s fact check. Then, the daily review problems were completed on solving multiplication word problems. Today's lesson continued to focus on 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication. Kellan continues to gain confidence in his ability to solve these problems each day and is working more independently but still uses the step-by-step reference for guidance.
