Kellan took his spelling test. We read Cat Kid and discussed it.

I worked with Kellan to come up with a series of ideas to use for his Artigras submission.

Kellan began with the daily review problems on estimating, subtracting across zeros, and basic division facts which were copied from the whiteboard before being completed. Then, Kellan and I reviewed multiplying multiples of 10 by using basic multiplication facts and place value before Kellan earned 100% on the correlating quiz.

Kellan drew 3 southern states and their capitals after reading information pertaining to each state.

Kellan had a very busy period and at the end he was exhausted.
I did not want to push him harder so we chilled for the period and just talked.

Kellan read about ionic compounds. He identified between compounds with repeating atoms, and compounds with repeating different atoms. He read about extended structures and covalent compounds. He completed the follow-up questions.

Kellan worked on his figure drawings for the duration of class.

Kellan dictated a story for me to type for him.

Kellan did a word search to practice his spelling words. In his journal, he wrote a comparison and contrast between Cat Kid and Dog Man.

Kellan was absent.
