This morning, Kellan began with a 3-minute timed 3s fact check. Then, we continued the lesson on multiplying multiples of 10. Kellan used basic multiplication facts to help him find the products or missing factors of the lesson's independent practice problems and the answers to the quick assessment questions. Kellan is doing very well with this concept and will take the correlating quiz on Wednesday.
Kellan took his spelling test from last week. He wrote his new spelling words in his dictionary. In his journal, he wrote about the comic book character he will be dressed like tomorrow.

Kellan began studying the Islamic State. He reviewed his new vocabulary words. He discovered where the Islamic State is located on the map. He completed drawing two more Southern States and their capitals.
Today I introduced Kellan to six fitness tests that we will be doing in class.
Today we got baseline scores.
As we go through the year Kellan will attempt to get better scores on each test.
We will post the scores in his classroom.
