Penny followed oral directions and wrote down the steps for a recipe for making butter. She then made the butter and enjoyed it on crackers. Penny then created Thanksgiving pictures and wrote down all that she is thankful for in her life.

In today's lesson Penny and I drew turkeys and other animals. She is very smart and was able to tell me what parts the turkey should have.

Penny worked on a project that was all about getting to know her. We worked on the computer practicing math skills and typing skills.

Penny and I had a discussion about animals, such as birds. We then created a bird feeder with a toilet paper roll, peanut butter, bird seed, and string. Penny enjoyed it!

I started the section with conversation to acquaint us with each other. Penny wanted to count the markers in her room so she did after using write-on, wipe-off boards she traced the letters in her name. We worked on patterns and classification skills using plastic bears of different colors and sizes.
