Mercer completed an assignment from the 6th grade math Envision textbook, Lowest Common Multiple.

Mercer was given an opportunity to explore 3D CAD software.

As this was not his first time, his exploration led to more advanced results, including: importing other works and borrowing from them, cloning subjects and applying slight modifications to yield an artistic effect.

Mercer was then tasked with creating a basic car in 3D.
We created a basic parts list and converted those into simple 3D shapes.

We made ornaments for his tree.

We read, "An Inca City," discussing story plot, vocabulary words, setting, and main characters. We worked on a subject and predicate activity.

Today's lesson focused on geography. Mercer reviewed material about identifying different city landscapes around the world. He completed activities that tested his knowledge about identifying towns around the world from random video clips.

Mercer completed an assignment from the 6th grade math Envision textbook, Prime Factorization. We also played two games of chess.

We learned about simple subjects and simple predicates, followed by an activity on simple subjects and simple predicates. We reviewed his vocabulary words for the story, "Swan,"

Lesson 5 Atoms and Elements - We learned that an element is a pure substance represented by chemical symbols. Then we added definitions for our vocabulary to our science notebook. Next we looked at a periodic table of the elements and discovered what each number represents for each element.

Today we watched a video about the seasons of the year and practiced creating sentences using the seasons.
