He is very keen and he has already expressed interest in collaborating with Sebastian
Award winning Directors and Screenwriters lecture on methods that have resulted in success. Stopping frequently, we discussed ideas and how Andrew compares his process creating his film with the experiences described. We finished with a word game to reinforce new vocabulary.

I tried to give him Vocabulary homework, but he actually finished it in 2 in. He is such a bright boy, and often simply does not want to do work....but when he does, it is good.
A few short clips from the famous lectures, with time for consideration of the major points, plus encouraging Andrew to think of his own filmmaking, his influences and goals.
Will viewed a video that presented the "10 best films of all time," based on critical acclaim, audience preference, etc. We then spent time talking about sound effects and Foley artists and watched a couple of videos that demonstrated how those sound effects are applied during the filmmaking process.
Will and I discussed the topic of scene blocking and how directors use the technique to help tell the story, create a mood, and give the audience a specific point of view. We watched two videos on blocking: an instructional video that explained blocking and demonstrated how it worked in filming a scene and a video that broke down the blocking for a scene in Vertigo.
