Lena was given her canvas along with a thin piece of tracing paper and we worked together to trace an outline of her painting. Once the silhouette was completed, I cut it out and we taped it over her painting. Lena was shown how to use an airbrush and once comfortable she covered the background of her painting in red.

I outlined areas of her painting for shadowing. Lena started with the legs and worked her way up to the head of the character.

Japanese alphabet: Katakana (Ha,hi,hu,he,ho)...

Grammer: Ko,so,a,do (This one, That one, That one over there, Which one?)...

Lena and I continued working on her anime character, focusing on all of the grey, blue, and yellow areas of her characters.

Lena was given a canvas, anime image, and transfer paper. We placed the image and transfer papers on the canvas and taped them down. I instructed Lena to trace the image so that is would transfer to the canvas. Once the image was complete Lena began painting all of the flat colors for the image.

I worked with Lena to construct a display case for her clay sculpture.

Lena worked on an A-Z improv. She designed makeup for an alien character. We read a three person scene. We continued watching Peter Pan Goes Wrong.
