During today's lesson of how to use MS Excel Spreadsheets, PJ rapidly "caught on" to the technique and features of MS Excel to create a spreadsheet of test scores which also "automatically calculates" sums of columns of data as well as averages.

During today's lesson, PJ was given an MS Excel assignment to copy a given list of student test grades andshown how to properly label the Rows and Columns on the Excel spreadsheet. PJ was receptive and attentive to the details required for a properly formatted spreadsheet. The next step will be to show him how Excel will perform "auto-calculations" in summing columns of data and eventually calculating students' test averages.

During today's session, PJ was well focused and attentive to the various instructions and description of how to create an effective MS Powerpoint multi-media presentation. This new skill is expected to be very beneficial to
his project work this year and through his upcoming high school career.
Method of creating an MS Powerpoint Presentation. Instructions and demonstration of how to create an MS Powerpoint presentation. Using MS Office 365, student created a powerpoint presentation titled "Panda Low IQ" and learned how to create titles, embed pictures /images into slides, and to write text using appropriate font size and phrases. The method of saving the MS Powerpt. presentation as a file and how to send as an attachment to an email was taught.
