Today Jayne created a storyboard online. I gave her a theme, which was school and she came up with the scenes and storyline. She added text boxes, speech bubbles, and designed the characters. I am excited for the final product that she will be able to print and show off.

Henry was not in the mood to type today. He felt overwhelmed and unsuccessful. I explained how important the skill of typing is for a student his age and mistakes are just part of the learning process. If he could be encouraged to type at school, I would appreciate the support. He completed a puzzle with robot Dash and then played a couple rounds of trivia on Kahoot.

Today, Henry started with reviewing letters he has already learned on the home row keys. He did a great job with his left hand and then got a bit frustrated when he moved to his right hand. After a few tries, he decided it was best to stop. We will resume that skill next week. We also added a slide to the Goolge Slide presentation he was working on from last week on plants. He was proud of his final work.

Today Jayne started on learning keys A and semicolon. She now has learned all the letters in the home row. She started off hesitant and down on herself for not getting all the letters correct, but after some encouragement and a second try, she did so much better! Then we went on to complete puzzles with Dash on space aliens and puppy school. She really enjoyed programming Dash to say and do funny things.
Dylan continued to work on his Slide presentation for the book we read "Halloween". He also did some more typing, practicing the letters S and L. He did a nice job on typing today. Then we went on program Dash, completing a new puzzle to make Dash tell a knock-knock joke.
