Review and correct homework questions from missing days. Calculate the pKa, pH, and hydrogen ion concentration of a Boric acid solution on known molarity. The calculation will involve completion. of ICE table along with determination using logs.
Joshua took the multiple choice section of an AP practice exam so that we could monitor his pacing and use the exam as a review class. HIs pacing was within time limits and we will review substance in class tomorrow.
We will start by defining a sequence and identify terms of a sequence. We will use limits to determine if a sequence converges or diverges. We will find the value that a sequence converges to if it is a convergent sequence. We will look at graphs of sequences to determine convergence.

I provided instruction on the core concepts of Unit 9 -how dynamic and even static characters make choices in response to conflict resolution . These choices illustrate character and add to a work's interpretation. Then, using our last novel, The Scarlet Letter, we applied these concepts discussing how Dimmesdale's response to the novel's climax and the conflict 's resolution emphasize an interpretation as to the efficacy of expiation of sin. I further explored the role of literary catharsis as the reader experiences Dimmesdale's seemingly futile confession .

Joshua joined late, because the internet connection was weak.
We talked about his trip to Liberty University and briefly about the election results in Germany. I gave him the links to 3 podcasts and recommended that he should try to listen to them to learn about the important issues in Germany and so that we can talk about the elections.
In our lesson, we worked on the first of the exercises I had copied into our shared file, but that Joshua did not get to this weekend.

Discuss the information from the 3 days Joshua was absent. List and define all the terms needed to continue. Introduce and discuss both the gravitational force equations and Coulumbs equation. Discuss the units of charge and proportionality constant.
