Lesson 6-9 Interior and Exterior Angles of Triangles – We worked on the homework.
Lesson 6-10 Angle-Angle Triangle Similarity – We practiced determining whether triangles are similar by comparing two angles in one triangle to two angles in another triangle to see if they are congruent. If there are 2 sets of congruent angles, the triangles are similar.
Assignment: Complete assigned problems for homework.

Kaitlin took another quiz on Lesson 8 Angles, Lines, and Transversals.

Kaitlin worked on finding the volume and surface area of several shapes.

We worked on finding reflections, translations, and dilations.

Kaitlin worked on her equations with fractions.

Kaitlin worked on solving algebraic equations. This included all 4 operations and several problems requiring a 2-step process to solve for the variable. We reviewed using the inverse operations to solve these equations. She was able to determine each inverse operation and when to use the reciprocal to isolate the variable.

Kaitlin worked on a packet of math for St. Patrick’s Day. She worked on one-step algebraic equations, the four operations on integers, and simplifying linear expressions. She was assigned to complete this packet for homework over the weekend.
