Today we went on an excursion to the Juno Lake and did some fishing. We walked all the way around and Dane fished in every possible location.

Free art day. Dane worked on a drawing of his own in Procreate for the last day of class. He explored some of the tools we hadn't used before. We gathered all his works so that he could take them home and downloaded his digital drawings so I could email them to his email.

Finish working on Dane's second character. Add shadows to the face and neck. Draw the shape of the shadows and use the "fill" tool for a more stylized face. We added shadows under the chin, near the ears, under the hair and more. We filled in the shirt and added grey shadows. We filled in the character's pants and had him wearing baggy sweatpants.

Today Dane participated in end-of-year school activities. Dane went to the local park with teachers, staff, and students, participated in physical activities and games, and enjoyed a grilled lunch.

Today's lesson focused on enrichment. Dane spent the class period reviewing material that detailed natural disasters. He discussed the difference between tornados and hurricanes and real-life survival stories.

We continued working on playing and switching the E, D, A, C+9, and G chords. We also worked on some Em pentatonic scale patterns.
