Paige and I spent our session with completing her math homework - solving proportions. I introduced a new way for Paige to solve and she liked this way better than the way she was doing it. I am so happy to have Paige back!
Paige and I began our session with reading the last chapter of "Echo". Paige also annotated the last chapter. Paige then completed her math percentage of 80% on the math program, 'Aleks'. Great work!!

This was my last session with Paige. I am so proud of her hard work.
Paige and I completed reading five chapters of section three in "Echo". Paige then completed math, using the program, Aleks, focusing on adding and subtracting decimals, writing mixed numbers as improper fractions, multiplying whole numbers, and working with exponents.
Paige and I began our session with reading chapter 29 in "Shakespeare's Scribe". Paige then continued work on math on Aleks, focusing on topics such as perimeter, area, and volume and multiplying a multi-digit and one-digit number using an area model.
Paige and I began our session with completing her grammar packet, labeling each word in the sentence and then diagramming the sentences. Paige and I then continued reading "Shakespeare's Scribe", reading chapter 24 and annotating. Paige also identified vocabulary she did not know. We then read aloud a chapter in the book, "Echo". Paige is doing excellent reading. Lastly, Paige continued working on math using the program, Aleks, focusing on multiplying whole numbers and working with equivalent fractions. At first, Paige had difficulty with equivalent fractions and then I showed her one time and she was able to master this topic! Paige is building her confidence so wonderfully for middle school!
Paige and I began our session with her grammar packet, discussing and identifying the four types of sentences - declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, and imperative. Paige also wrote a sentence for each type. Next, Paige worked on the math program, Aleks, finding the missing length of a figure, identifying whether to add or subtract to identify the missing length. Paige then practiced finding the area of the figure. I introduced separating the two figures into two shapes and then solving for the area. Lastly, Paige and I took turns reading chapter 23.
Assignment

Paige and I spent most of our virtual session continuing working in her grammar packet, focusing on homonyms and identifying the subject, preposition, and object. We then continued reading "Shakespeare's Scribe" and annotating.
Paige and I began our session with continuing her grammar packet, focusing on capitalization and prepositions. Paige marks in her packet with which questions she needs assistance. Paige then continued working on her math on the program, Aleks - solving expressions, determining whether to multiply or divide and following PEMDAS. Lastly, we read and annotated chapter 13 in "Shakespeare's Scribe".
Paige and I began our session with creating a schedule to complete her summer readings - Shakespeare's Scribe by Gary Blackwood and Echo by Pamula Munoz Ryan. Paige will read two chapters a day of Shakespeare's Scribe and three chapters a day of Echo. Paige will also complete annotation for each chapter. We also began working on her summer grammar packet, completing part I and part II.

It was so nice to have Paige back! She is such a pleasure!
Paige and I began our session with completing her homework - 2 sheets, understanding the hierarchy of quadrilateral and identifying types of triangles. Paige did very well. Paige struggled with plotting a triangle on a coordinate plane, struggling with identifying the x and y-axis. Paige then created an equivalent fraction kite using a poster and construction paper.
