Aiden and I continue his fitness goals for the year.
Aiden ran his fastest half mile this year.
We then did a push-up challenge.
I challenged Aiden to do 25 push-ups in 30 seconds or less and he was able to do this two times in the span of 15 minutes.
David and I continue to discuss CPR and First Aid.
Today we finished discussing CPR and we discussed First Aid out of the Health Book.
We discussed the proper procedures to performing CPR.
Workout - 3 laps around the field with light weights; stretch routine using sun salvation; resistance band; legs including lunges and squats; bag work; finish with abs and back strengthening x15.
Today, I gave Aiden a full body cardiovascular workout.
We started with a 6-lap jog on the perimeter of the field.
We then did a series of sprint, jog, walk drills. (We did 3 of these around the entire perimeter of the field)
We then a series of push-ups and sit-ups followed by sprinting in place. (Again, we did 3 of each)
Libby and Teddy started by doing a 3-lap run on the perimeter of the field.
Next, we did full-body stretches.
We finished by playing a couple of different "tag" games.
