This morning, Atticus completed the numeric and algebraic expressions unit. He answered questions on understanding and representing exponents, finding the GCF and LCM, writing and evaluating numerical expressions, writing and evaluating algebraic expressions, generating equivalent expressions, and simplifying algebraic expressions. He did a great job and scored 93.5%. Finally, we quickly reviewed his homework and Atticus corrected missed problems.
Atticus wrote in his interactive notebook 10 important facts about the Phoenicians. We discussed these facts in detail exploring this information and learning why they were such excellent traders, record keepers, and how they helped to develop the alphabet we use today.
