8-3 Quadratic Functions in Standard Form – We learned to compare properties of quadratic functions. We found the x coordinate by using the formula –b/2a. Next we plugged the x value into the equation to find the y value. Then we applied these principles to real-world problems.
Assignment: Complete the assigned problems for homework.
Cameron was not here for our 3rd period class. Matt said he had to leave school at 10:30am for a tournament. As soon as I can access previous session notes, I'll move today's lesson to Tues., 2/21.
Today we reviewed the steps Hitler took to initiate war from the time he became Chancellor of Germany in 1933. We discussed the Nazi invasions of Western France, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland. When the Nazi's invade Poland in 1939, Great Britain, France and the USSR declare war against Germany. We also discussed the Nuremberg Laws of 1936 and what this did to the Jewish population of Germany.
