TV Scripting Writing: Sports Feature Story: “ALL ACCESS CADDY”(The END)
Lesson Outline
Friday and Cameron is in-person and on a roll. He did not do his assignment but we dove into creating “an End” of his lengthy TV Sports Feature story “All Access Caddy”. We had a lot fun developing an unexpected, out of the usual, not so mundane or run of the mill reporting typically seen these days. We played on his All Access credential but as cool as it is, the credential is not absolute. Good life lesson there. The surprise ending of the story memorializes the extraordinarily unique day of Dad and Lad, working together, in the midst of a real PGA Tour event.
Assignment
Configure tabs on his MacBook Pro in GoogleDocs? TV Scripts must conform to industry basics and professional layout learned.

Lesson Comments
"All Access Caddy" TV Script writing story is complete but not done. Editing, whittling down excessive words and duplication or unnecessary elements will be next. He must first structure the story in TV format Video on Left side and Audio on Right side of page. We started correctly but his creativity was being slowed by worrying about format so I told him to just type the story with inserts of quotes or natural sound and we will do lay-out formatting latter. The important thing was writing the feature here.

More outstanding work by Cameron as he could articulate and incorporate ideas discussed into the body content of the Sports Feature Story: All Access Caddy. We've also made tremendous advancement due to extra sessions as I pinch-hit for absent teachers.

Cameron is doing great in his ability to see the story unfolding, writing clearly and without hesitation when ask to do so on the spot. Cameron is open and welcoming to suggestions and learning. Cam applies the principles discussed immediately into practice (this is my design/intension but that doesn't always mean it what happens with student) Cameron is on a roll!
TV Scripting Writing: Sports Feature Story: “ALL ACCESS CADDY”
Lesson Outline
Cameron was in-person but reports he did not view Friday’s “three/two three” class or assignment (had golf tourney) so we did Friday class on Monday 2/6. Yet, what a difference it makes when Cameron is in-person! He demonstrates an ‘all-in’ mentality both in listening, learning and instant application. Cam never read the assignment for Friday class he missed due to a golf tournament . Therefore we picked up /used class time to do homework but he understood fine, engaged completely & dove into its work. (Text later) Yes Sir, that would be great b/c Cameron is on a bit of a roll in understanding & productivity.
Assignment
Think & write not shot by shot but insight by insight & be thinking how to bring story middle & end.

While somewhat annoyed Cameron totally blew off even viewing Friday's class, I'm not surprised. That being said, Cameron in-person makes all the difference in the world. This is a really good development in his learning.
Cameron researched and outlined important facts about the athlete he chose to profile for Black History month. He wrote about the basketball player,Hakeem Olajuwan, as he admires his athletic skills and referred to him as a "super athlete." Cameron worked independently and remained focused while working.

I subbed for Bari this afternoon, 2/10/23, from 12:30 - 1:15 (World History).
He did a good job today in grammar, we worked with a chart of present tense verbs, and he conjugated them and then we watched a video of golf players from Spain.
