In today's class, Cameron worked on a mutation activity where he filled out a crossword puzzle using his knowledge on the subject to fill in the blanks. This is similar to the one he worked on yesterday. This really helps drive home what he learned about mutations.

Imperialism is the expansion of one nation's influence over other nations. Domestically, since the nation started expanding west, new territories as far away as Hawaii, Guam and Samoa were annexed, or added into the country. America also ended up at war with Spain and got the Philippines, Guam, and Puerto Rico. In other styles of imperialism, the American CIA helped rebels overthrow President Allende of Chile and placed a more American-friendly leader in charge. American companies like United Fruit demonstrated economic imperialism once they became so powerful they could influence other governments. Now, people worry that America is becoming so influential through products like movies and companies like Coca-Cola that it could result in a form of cultural imperialism. There are many styles of imperialism, but at the end of the day, the house on the right still gets to use the house on the left as a tool shed.

Today we studied the plural form of nouns in Spanish. We began to study all the rules and began to review with some studyspanish exercises.

New topics included useful planning tools for social media posts, and increasing brand awareness. We practiced creating content calendars, and learned about social media management and the importance of visual stimulating feeds.

In today's class, Cameron worked on a crossword activity where he was given clues or definitions and he needed to use his knowledge on mutations and DNA to fill in the appropriate word/words. Cameron did very well answering the activity on his own.

Today he practiced four exercises from the activity book: definite and indefinite articles pages 22 and 23. Then, we started to study the pluralization rules of nouns in Spanish.
