We played some rhythms on the hand drums, and some of the other small hand percussion instruments. We played a lot on the electric keyboard, using the challenge function to catch the lighted keys as musical phrases were playing. We also began talking about piano keys and notes.
We played on the piano and worked on learning the keys, and the notes around middle C. We worked on finger position, playing half scales, and reading a few notes. We played on the drumset and played along to some songs.
