Went over a PowerPoint presentation on clothing with pictures and vocabulary to help Ben translate his worksheet on vocabulary. Then began working on a word search for Kleidung. At the end of class reviewed the terms with a Blooket.
Ben completed the lab "Coiled Up" which experimented with moving a magnet into and out of a coil of copper wire and detecting a current on an ammeter. He recorded his data and answered the follow-up questions. He completed Collect Evidence C. He completed the Investigation "Lights On" where he watched an animation about how to create an electric generator. He filled in the graphic organizer.
Read Lesson 4 in Ch. 18. Complete In-Class Assignment: What positive and negative events happened during the Clinton Presidency?
Describe Clinton’s second term and impeachment.
What major trade agreement did Clinton make in 1993?
Due to testing in the sewing room, Ben used this period as additional time to focus on his English lessons for today's assignments researching the literature book, "The Pearl."
We had the option of watching Gordon Ramsey videos on YouTube this afternoon, but was instead afforded an opportunity to engage in some hands-on cooking using ingredients which included Napa Japanese cabbage, onions, and potatoes to chop up, cook, and make a tasty side dish. Ben used excellent cooking techniques and was resourceful and hygienic in his practices.
