Lesson 4-3 Use Linear Models to Make Predictions – We learned to sketch trendlines and write equations for data that appear to have a linear association. Then we learned how to make predictions for the data using the equation of a trend line as a linear model of the relationship between the paired data. We discovered that scatterplots can be used to make predictions about current or future trends.

We examined the tangible items and the intangible qualities Kino lost as a result of finding the pearl. We first noted the tangible loss of home and a sacred canoe.
