Jase completed lesson 14 today - forming plurals of words.

Jase read two short passages on cause and effect, and problem and solution. He completed two follow-up activities on the passages. He viewed the accompanying Abeka reading video.

Jase finished lesson 13, which was about identifying proper nouns in a sentence. He started lesson 14 - plural nouns.

Jase and I did a spelling test together.
Jace had his computer and workbook to do the spelling test.

Today we finished identifying subjects and verbs in sentences. We went on to Lesson 13 - Proper nouns. Jase learned to identify proper nouns and created proper nouns based on the given word.

Jase continued through a spelling lesson that covered many household items. Jase was then tested by scrambling the words out of their original order.

I subbed for Jase today, together we went through one of his daily reading lessons. Part of this was an online component, part was vocabulary recognition.

Today we studied compound nouns. Jase identified nouns in a sentence and circled the compound nouns.

In today's lesson, Jase identified the nouns in sentences. He also identified nouns - person, place, thing or idea, in pictures that the teacher posted.
He has a pretty good understanding of nouns but tends to get somewhat confused when identifying in a sentence.

Jase mentioned that he needed the penmanship tests that we did. I had folded the papers and placed those in his penmanship book, so he should have those:)

Jase finished his verb test today. He also started the section on nouns that includes abstract and concrete nouns.
