Jase and I worked on a pattern making exercise to get ready for project 1. He worked to create a variety of patterns with varying contrast levels. He then picked out his animal for our patterned animal project and we worked on learning how to start a gesture sketch of a figure or object.
Jase wrote responses to the questions at the end of the story he read. We finished the spelling video that went with the test and started the List 3 lesson.
Plural nouns/ Ch. 15: Proper, common, and compound nounds

Jase finished the chapter on plural nouns. He also began chapter 15, where he replaced the common noun with a proper noun. He also recited a Bible verse for me that he had memorized. I'm very impressed!
Jase and I worked on studying the spelling words that he didn't have memorized. We focused on writing the spelling words in a sentence and then writing them as I said them.
