TV Script Writing : Live @ Daytona 500
Lesson Outline
Nicky has a lot going on. We continue with TV Script Writing and his mythical Live Shot as a Reporter @ the Daytona 500 and interview using sound bites selected from my interview on my webpage of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Nicky is working through the terminology and structure of scripts to execute a Live Shot. He did remember to bring his laptop today but it was too slow to open so we continued using the paper TV Script I wrote up to continue on terminology & "the Why" of each command scripted.

Lesson Comments
Nicky is attentive and in the moment. Juggling a lot apparently in his active life but seems to comprehend at least the concept of why TV Scripts are laid out the way they are. I'm sure he will work on the terminology too.
I did talk to him about his potential.

Chapter 13: The Earth System
Lesson Outline
We learned that Earth’s carbon is stored in reservoirs in each Earth system. Although only a small amount of carbon dioxide is stored in the atmosphere, this gas affects Earth’s climate. Most carbon on Earth is stored in the geosphere. Human activities, including burning fossil fuels and cutting down forests, have led to an increase in the gas carbon dioxide in Earth’s atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is one of several greenhouse gases in the atmosphere that absorb and reradiate thermal energy from the Sun. An increase in greenhouse gases can cause global warming, possibly leading to coastal flooding and harmful changes in habitats. We learned about the study of Earth science which is the study of Earth and its place in the universe. Earth science has several branches including geology, oceanography, meteorology, astronomy, and environmental science. Then we learned that matter and energy constantly move from one part of the Earth system to another. Next we learned that there are forces that have changed Earth’s surface throughout its history. The constructive forces shape Earth’s surface by building mountains and Land masses. The destructive forces slowly wear away mountains and every other feature on Earth’s surface.

Chapter 13: The Earth System
Lesson Outline
Lesson 1: Earth Systems and Interactions – We learned how Earth’s systems interact. Earth systems interact by exchanging matter and energy, which often change in form during the interactions. In the water cycle, water moves in the hydrosphere, changes to a gas and enters the atmosphere, and transfers thermal energy among all the systems. The rock cycle is a series of processes that take place deep within Earth as well as on the surface of the planet. The series of processes that continuously move carbon among Earth systems is called the carbon cycle. Some organisms take in CO2 through the process of photosynthesis and help cycle carbon through the biosphere. Through the process of cellular respiration, living organisms return CO2 to the atmosphere.
