Libby was seen in an office for a 45-minute treatment session with focus of session on improving her fine motor skills especially in the area of grasp patterns, ocular motor skills (saccades), self care skills, handwriting, as well as improving her flexibility for wearing different clothing and wearing her hair different ways. Sat in small office to work today with excellent compliance and attention to tasks. Libby was able to identify the letters A,B,C,D and E today with 100% accuracy. We began to go over the letter formation and labeling of the letters "F,G,H,I and J" today. She was able to identify all the letters except for "F and H". Libby made sparkle index card letters for these five capitals. These sparkle letters can be used once they dry as tactile/kinesthetic input for Libby as she traces them with her finger. Her recall for the learned letters has shown steady progress. Great session.

Libby watched a scientific video about the life cycle of a Praying Mantis. She put together a booklet explaining interesting facts about the Praying Mantis. She observed the live Praying Mantis egg sac. We left the sac in their classroom in the hope that the sac will hatch baby Praying Mantis before school is out.

Libby and Teddy played some different fitness games including: running, jumping, hopping and skipping.
We also practiced on some games that we will be doing on Field Day next week.

I worked with Libby to digitally color a unicorn in Procreate.

Obstacle course Monday combines our martial arts training with an obstacle course featuring the use of hoops, tunnels, bat and ball and battle rope.

Karate techniques practiced today include: Punches, Front kick, roundhouse kicks and upper Block.

We played the electric piano, and used the lighted keys to follow along to some simple song melodies. We used the percussion instrument settings to play some basic rhythms.

Teddy and Libby played games of ring toss.
We had some challenge games and at one point Libby was able to get 8 in a row.

Libby studied and discussed the flowers. Then she planted the flowers in the vase she made for her mother for Mother's Day.

Battle Rope 1-minute drills to include: Sidewinder, Alternating waves, Stagecoach, Walking on the rope, Jumping across the rope, and Jumping Jacks.

Experience Climbing the rope using several drills.

Finish class with Recess.

We played along to several children's songs on the drum set, and Teddy and Libby took turns playing and listening.
